Who are Missionaries?

Missionaries are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who have chosen to serve God for a year and a half or two years of their lives. They are all volunteers and have come here to share the love they individually feel through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You are a child of God. You didn't have to do anything to become His child, you just are. Because God loves you, He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to earth.
The Father had one very important task for Jesus to do, so Christ humbly entered the garden and suffered for our sins. Through His suffering you are never alone. You are never alone in your pain, you are never alone in your sorrow, you are never alone in your suffering. Jesus has already gone through all this, and because He did it alone, you don't have to.
Christ said: "I am the light and the life of the world" where there is light, darkness cannot exist. I know that Christ came into this world, suffered and died for our sins. His sacrifice brings light and hope in every situation. I know that you are a child of God, you are seen, loved and understood by the Saviour of the world.

Hey I'm Nick. I have been living in Poland for the last year. I came to Poland to share the joy we receive from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ can carry us through even the most difficult moments in our lives. In the book of Matthew, he promises us, "I am with you all the days until the end of the world." It is such a comforting thought that Jesus Christ will be with us in good times and bad. He will never leave us, and I am thankful for that.
I know that as we apply the teachings of Jesus Christ to our lives we can grow spiritually. We can find protection from the harmful temptations we face. We don't have to be alone. Through daily
prayer, scripture study, and serving others, Jesus Christ
can give us strength.

Have you ever heard of the Book of Mormon?
We believe that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, and through reading it we can feel the love of God.
In the introduction to the Book of Mormon it is explained:
"The Book of Mormon is a volume of holy scripture comparable to the Bible. It is a record of God’s dealings with ancient inhabitants of the Americas and contains the fulness of the everlasting gospel."
I know that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God. It contains the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and everything we need to return to our Heavenly Father. I promise you that it can help you draw closer to our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I am thankful for the gospel of Jesus Christ! As I learned more about it and applied the teachings to my life, I found a greater purpose in life and a stronger relationship with my Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ understands and knows each of us personally. He took the sins of the world upon Himself so that we could be set free from sin and one day rest in happiness and peace with Him and our loving Heavenly Father.
Jesus Christ is my brother, my friend, my Saviour and Redeemer. He lifts my burdens and brings me true happiness.
I am very grateful to be in Poland and to be able to help others to know their Saviour better.

Throughout my life, Jesus Christ has brought me comfort, love, and light. He has given me relief from the pain of this world. I know that when I fall, Christ will help me get up. His love is unconditional and is for everyone.

Christ is the reason why I will be able to live with my Heavenly Father again. Christ is the reason I have the strength to get through the hard days of life. Christ is the reason I can wake up every morning and strive to be better than I was yesterday. Christ is the reason I am the happiest I have ever been.

Hi, my name is Magdalena! I, like most of you, have answered "yes" to these questions at some point in my life. However, 3 years ago I bought my own copy of the Book of Mormon and started reading it! Although at first I was very apprehensive and thought the Book of Mormon was strange... but at the same time I was interested in what the Book was about. When I read it, I didn't understand every word or even the whole story of the Book, but one thing was true: I felt that the hardships and trials started to feel lighter. I felt my relationship with Jesus Christ deepen in ways I wanted but never knew how. And then I met the missionary sisters! The missionaries taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ, which answered every question of my soul. Questions I had been asking myself since I was a very little girl! And now here I am as a missionary in Poland!
I can testify that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. My relationship with Jesus Christ is most important to me, which is why I moved to Poland to share the joy of the gospel with my brothers and sisters here!

I strive every day to come closer to God! I draw near to God when I see the love He gives me!
I know that God is my Heavenly Father! That means He loves me! He loves me enough to send me His son, Jesus Christ, on a daily basis to help me! We are not made to do things alone, but to do them together with the Saviour!!! God also sends Christ-like people into my life to help me!!! I believe that not all angels are in heaven because I see them every day!!! Hey!
When I was younger, I had a lot of questions about life. I wondered what the best path to take was, whether there was a life before this one, whether there would be a life after this one, whether there was a reason for my existence. I wondered what my purpose was.

I also had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There I learned about the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Both of these scriptures testify that the only way to find true knowledge is to go to the source of all knowledge: God himself. I asked God again and again how to find the answers to my questions, and how to find the truth.

God answered my prayers. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, I became confident that the Book of Mormon, which contains the answers to all the most important questions in life, is true. I now understand where I came from and where I will go after this life. I understand the reason for my existence. I understand my purpose. These answers and the Book of Mormon containing them are the greatest blessings in my life.
